Visiting the website
When you visit Seedor our web servers temporarily store each access in a log file. In the process, the following data is collected and stored until automated deletion:
- Device information (information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device, information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the website, and information about how you interact with the site)
In addition to this data, further data may be collected by us and our partners (more on this below).
This data is processed for the purpose of enabling the use of the website, connection establishment, system security, technical administration of the network infrastructure, as well as optimising the offer. The IP address is only assessed in the event of attacks on our or our website provider’s network infrastructures.
No entry of your personal data is required in order to visit our website.
When ordering a product/service from Seedor we process your name, address, telephone number, and email address to enter into the purchase agreement with you, to process it including invoicing in our system and receiving payment, to ensure timely delivery, and to notify you of changes to the delivery if needed.
In the case of shipping, we also pass on your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address to our contractually bound shipping service providers so that they can process the delivery and communicate with you if necessary.

There is a possibility on our site to subscribe to our newsletter. Our newsletter will only be sent to you if you expressly agree to this when opening your customer account. When ordering the newsletter, you will be asked to provide personal data for processing. This is the data that is requested in the newsletter input mask. Input fields marked with an “*” are mandatory fields, that are necessary in order to send the newsletter to the person concerned. All other fields are to be filled in voluntarily by the person concerned.
The newsletter, sent by e-mail has the function of informing the customer about offers, news, and information about the products and Seedor. If you for our newsletter, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that contains a confirmation link that you must click on. After this procedure, the data subject is successfully registered for the newsletter. To carry out the procedure, the IP address, date and time of registration are stored. This is to prevent misuse. In principle, the data is not passed on to third parties.
The newsletter order can be terminated at any time. For this purpose, the data subject may click on the unsubscribe link integrated in each newsletter or inform Seedor about the will to unsubscribe.
Protection of your data
We have technical and organisational measures in place to ensure that the provisions of the GDPR are observed both by us and by external service providers working for us. Your data will be stored on protected servers. Access to it is only possible for a few specially authorized persons. Our website is SSL/TLS encrypted, which the user can recognise by the “https://” at the beginning of the URL.

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us in order to help fulfil orders, process refunds and support you.
We share information with third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you.
With help of so-called “plug-ins” we have integrated social media platforms on our website. This may result in the social media providers receiving data from you.

We accept payments through Stripe and PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to the chosen payment provider, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
