Borage is a biennial, medicinal, decorative plant that can be grown in gardens and flower beds. Young, fresh leaves of borage can be picked throughout the summer, and its flowers fresh are used to decorate dishes, desserts and cocktails, and flavouring of marinades. The flowers have a taste of cucumber.
Borage can be preserved for winter by drying and freezing.
